Training Process
Per Local Law 196, in order to continue to operate in the City of New York, some workers and supervisors are required to complete a minimum number of hours of approved site safety training. This NYC Department of Buildings-Approved curriculum is a prescribed (required) course that fulfills one of the requirements for an individual applying for a Site Safety Training (SST) Card.

Yes, OSHA 30 is required for supervisors, but you still need this 28-hour SST training to obtain or renew your SST Supervisor’s Card.
The 28-HR Supervisor SST Bundle is a self-paced training program, which means you can start and pause this course as needed. This allows you to complete the 28 hours at your own pace.
This course meets NYC DOB requirements, but other states or jurisdictions may have different site safety training regulations.
If you already have OSHA 30, this bundle completes your SST requirements. However, refresher courses will be required in the future.
Your certificate is issued immediately upon completion, and the training record will be submitted for your SST Supervisor’s Card renewal or issuance.
