What is OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training?

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach is an online training program that provides advanced knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations. It covers different safety topics based on OSHA standards relevant to the construction industry, including hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), fall protection, forklift safety, fire safety, excavation, and trenching.

As one of the most recognized OSHA 30-Hour courses, this program is ideal for construction employees, site supervisors, project managers, safety directors, and others with site safety responsibilities. The training aims to make the workplace safer and promote a productive work environment through best practices.

Participants gain valuable skills to identify, control, and prevent potential risks and hazards, which helps them reduce accidents and injuries. The OSHA 30 construction safety card empowers workers to address unsafe conditions and advocate for a safer workplace. The DOL Card can reduce workers' compensation costs and increase safety awareness.

Note: This program is sourced from UL Solutions (PureSafety), which is an OSHA-authorized course provider. It is accredited by IACET and provides 3.0 CEUs. Currently, we are providing a free 10-Hour course with this program. However, individuals who purchase this course at a discounted price would not be eligable for this promotion.

Training Process

The entire training process is conducted online. Once you begin the course, you will have access to videos that include case studies, interactive lessons, and demonstrations. The OSHA 30-Hour Construction safety course is divided into multiple modules, each ending with a quiz that you must complete.
The knowledge you gain through the online outreach training will be assessed in a final exam. If you score 70% or higher, you will pass the course and receive your online OSHA completion certificate via email immediately. A few weeks after this, your OSHA Construction Card will be mailed to your provided address.

OSHA Requirements

You must complete the 30 hours of construction safety training within 180 days. If not, your course will expire and you’ll need to repurchase it to continue. It’s important to note these 180 days start from the time you begin your training, not when you purchase this program.
Trainees from New York must enroll in actively proctored or they may run into issues getting their training accepted by the NYC Department of Buildings.
