What is Occupational Safety and Health?
Occupational safety and health (OSH) is a multidisciplinary field concerned with workplace safety, health, and welfare. Hence, OSH seeks to create a safe and healthy work environment. So getting OSHA International Certification helps meet OSH goals. OSH also aims to protect the general public who may be exposed to the workplace environment. Consequently, employers have an obligation to take reasonable care of the safety of their workers in common-law locations. Furthermore, some legal acts also impose additional general obligations and establish specific duties as well as set up state agencies with the aim of controlling occupational safety concerns.
