OSHA has published its final interpretive rule under section 11(c). The section is concerned with regulations on whistleblower protection. It prohibits employers from retaliating against employees who engage in protected activity. It also includes those employees complaining about unsafe or unhealthful working conditions. OSHA also revised the regulation by adding terms to reflect the full scope of section 11(c)’s prohibition against retaliation. It is effective from Sep 3, 2021.
