(e) Live-line bare-hand work. In addition to any other applicable standards contained elsewhere in this subpart all live-line barehand work shall be performed in accordance with the following requirements:
(1) Employees shall be instructed and trained in the live-line barehand technique and the safety requirements pertinent thereto before being permitted to use the technique on energized circuits.
(4) All work shall be personally supervised by a person trained and qualified to perform live-line bare-hand work.
