Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) - Pictograms
To keep individuals safe in workplaces throughout the world, regulators are working to standardize symbols, called pictograms, to communicate hazards in a consistent manner. You will encounter pictograms on labels and Safety Data Sheets (or SDSs) that accompany every hazardous chemical used or stored in your workplace. After completing this course, you will be able to recognize pictograms and recall the specific pictograms associated with specific hazards.
