HazMat Transportation - Part 4 - Marking (US)
Out of the options you see here, can you identify which are hazardous material or HAZMAT markings? Each are considered markings because they communicate necessary information about hazardous materials to carriers transporting these materials and emergency responders if a release were to occur. In this training, we’ll examine when and how to label HAZMAT packages with markings in accordance with the Hazardous Materials Regulations, or “HMR.” If your job requires you to adhere with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations; International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code; International Air Transport Association (IATA) Regulations; or the United Nations (UN) Recommendations; your employer should provide you with relevant training on their marking requirements.T) Hazardous Materials Regulations.
