This course identifies common hazards that may be present in your office and how to avoid such hazards. Topics in this course include: Emergency Action Plan, Hazard Identification, Safe Work Practices, Office Equipment, Walking Surfaces, Good Housekeeping, and Workplace Violence. After completing this course, learners will be able to describe an action plan, identify potential hazards in the workplace, and recognize methods of hazard avoidance. The Bureau of Labor Statistics recorded nearly 3 million nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses in 2014. According to the Bureau, that’s nearly 54,000 less than the previous year. Safety is a concern for everyone. This course identifies common hazards that may be present in your office and how to avoid them.
