Although earning the OSHA 30-hour training certificate of completion is ideal for supervisors, it also benefits workers aiming for greater responsibilities. While voluntary, it’s often required by employers or local regulations in high-risk or government projects.

What is an OSHA 30 Certification?
While OSHA authorizes training programs, it does not issue official OSHA certifications. Instead, students receive a certificate of completion from the course creator. This document is emailed as soon as you successfully pass the final exam.
You can print these certificates and show them to your employers as proof that you have completed 30 hours of OSHA safety training. Most unions, employers, and states will accept it as temporary proof of completion when a DOL card is not yet available.
Note: We provide these programs in partnership with UL Solutions (PureSafety), an OSHA-authorized online outreach provider. You will find this name on your certificate.
Benefits of Getting OSHA 30 Card
Earning an OSHA card shows that you have important safety knowledge used in construction, manufacturing, warehousing, and more. It boosts your credibility and makes you more qualified for supervisory roles.
An OSHA 30 DOL card can also help you get more job opportunities and meet safety requirements for employers and projects. This card serves as the ultimate proof that the student has completed the OSHA 30 program.
The DOL card is valid in all 50 states and accepted by most employers, union and government agencies. Although it does not expire, refresher training is sometimes recommended. This wallet-size plastic card arrives 6–8 weeks after you complete the program.
