This course illustrates the importance of a Mechanical Integrity Program (MIP) that companies are required to follow in compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations to help prevent catastrophic events. Topics in this course include: Mechanical Integrity Program, Preparation, Written Procedures, and Quality Assurance. After completing this course, learners will be able to recognize why a good MIP is important. They will also be able to identify the required elements of an MIP and recognize how to maintain the mechanical integrity of a process.
