Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP)

From January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2020, there were 736 incidents involving MEWPs, affecting 768 individuals. Among these incidents, 172 were fatal. The Mobile Elevated Work Platforms training is designed to provide workers with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate and work on these platforms. This course covers various types of MEWPs, safety preparation, equipment inspection, site assessment, safe operation practices, and emergency procedures. Workers who complete this training earn a MEWP certificate and learn to ensure a safe working environment and to prevent accidents and injuries.
